You will be responsible for booking all aspects of ground transport for cultural, educational and activity trips throughout the UK and Europe. This role can be full time or part time and offers a salary of up to £28,000 pro rata. Travel Administrator responsibilities: Create and maintain relationships with transport suppliers (coach, ferry, Eurotunnel, airlines). Negotiate rates to ensure best value for money Liase with the Tour Organisers regarding requirements for each trip Administration of transport bookings from initial quote to invoicing and payments Complaint handling and feedback monitoring. This role will see you support the Finance function in ensuring the effective running of the monthly management accounting process. Main duties include, but not be limited to: Prepare detailed monthly management accounts and periodic forecasts for presentation to budget holders with strict adherence to agreed reporting timelines. Help implement systems and controls which will improve management information. Ensure that the Financial Regulations are understood and being complied with throughout the organisation overall. Monthly review of rotas, payroll, and commissioned income to identify any issues of over-staffing or commissioned rates. Assist in preparation of the annual budget. Assisting Central Finance with regular sales invoicing to ensure it is undertaken on a timely basis and proof in total for income is maintained. Perform other duties as may be required from time to time. To work with due regard to confidentiality and the principles of Data Protection whilst encouraging others to do the same. The ideal candidate will be AAT Qualified or ACCA/CIMA Part- Qualified or equivalent and possess experience working in complex company environments. You will be a confident communicator who can forge relationships with a range of stakeholders. You will be able to demonstrate past experience of producing management accounts and be able to efficiently work to tight deadlines.
