Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Job Type: Full-time Working Hours: Mon-Fri 08:30 - 15:15 Location: Lancing Salary: £85-£90 We are actively seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team. In this role you will provide support to pupils across the school, with a focus on those who may present with challenging behaviour and complex needs. Day to Day of the role: Delivering targeted interventions to individuals or small groups to support their learning and emotional needs. Working collaboratively with teachers to plan and coordinate support activities. Monitoring and reporting on the progress of pupils, adapting strategies as needed to facilitate optimal learning outcomes. Contributing to the creation of a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. Assisting in the development and implementation of Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP). Participating in training and development sessions to enhance personal skills and support school initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications: GCSE Grade C/4 or above in Maths and English (O' Levels accepted) and a good standard of education across a range of subjects. Meeting the HLTA Standard or equivalent qualifications or experience. Working knowledge of the national curriculum and other relevant learning programs.
