We're currently working on the behalf of a friendly, dynamic company seeking a new Assistant Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties including: Daily bookkeeping using Xero Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments Managing the creditor and debtor ledgers Checking and reconciling company bank statements Posting of all supplier invoices ensuring correct cost centres Reconciling care client's expenditure Weekly reconciliation of timesheets hours to care hours provided and agency invoices Monthly payroll preparation and processing Dealing with finance queries as they arise Ensuring that financial procedures are adhered to throughout the company Working closely alongside and taking direction from the Financial Controller The company would love a motivated, self-starter who is looking for a role with room to grow further with the company. Ideally you will have studied AAT Level 4 or similar, however they can be flexible regarding this. Previous experience using Xero would be highly beneficial. The company can consider those looking at 4 or 5 days a week.
