We have teamed up with a collaborative business services organisation, based in Eastleigh, to find a talented Assistant Accountant for a 6-month, fixed-term contract. This is a vital role for the business after a recent, successful acquisition, so it is an exciting time to join the company! As Assistant Accountant, you will start by getting involved with all things accounts payable and then build on your experience and gain exposure to various projects and all aspects of finance. The normal working hours are 9am-5:30pm, however, there is an opportunity to discuss slightly reduced hours or different working hours to accommodate school runs or similar commitments. The role will initially be based in Eastleigh but will move to Whiteley within the time of the contract. Role overview As a Retail Optical Assistant at Vision Express, you'll assist our customers in finding and selecting eyewear that meets their needs. You'll help with frame adjustments, repairs, and fittings.
