Main purpose of position
To assist the Quantity Surveyors in providing a full range of pre and post construction quantity surveying services for large and complex design and build projects to protect the Council from associated significant adverse financial risk and to ensure "value for money" is achieved.
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible to
To prepare and produce bills of quantity, schedules of work, tender specifications, cost estimates, cost plans, budgets and feasibility assessments.

We are recruiting for a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join the project commercial team to help with a specific section of works on a major scheme at Portsmouth hospital.
The role is to assist the commercial team with the upgrade, overhaul and part replacement pf the main electrical services, ring-main and power grid on site.
The project is a new state of the art Emergency Department and associated wards and infrastructure upgrades up to approx £50 million.

To support the Building Control Team, we are seeking a qualified and experienced building control surveyor who is ideally Class 3 Registered by the Building Safety Regulator.
The surveyor will be predominantly office based in our central Manchester Office and provide support and supervision of inspectors at all levels (class 1 to 3) and sign off their work.
