HR Manager Nottingham Onsite with travel Permanent Up to £52,500 We are looking to recruit an exceptional HR Manager to join a team of dynamic HR professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the world of education. It will be your responsibility to lead a proactive, professional HR service where you will take lead on everything from pay & reward , employee relations , change and organisational development , learning & development and compliance. You'll ensure the company are compliant with employment law, health and safety, and best practices, while focussing on student outcomes and contributing to the people vision and development plan. What you will be doing: Lead a responsive team providing expert advice on employee relations, including complex cases and safeguarding. Partner with Principals to align the People Strategy with school improvement goals. Develop and deliver HR training for leaders and staff, focusing on management skills, employment law and compliance. Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and tool-kits to meet legal requirements and support staff development and accessibility/communications of all HR policies and procedures. Monitor legal and regulatory changes and ensure compliance with reporting obligations, including gender pay gap reporting and workforce census. Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives, promoting a culture of respect and equality. Actively seek to align the diversity profile of the workforce with the students they serve and develop strategies to engage and support employees from minority groups. Oversee induction, talent management, and well being programs to support staff and drive educational excellence. Develop, embed, and monitor a consistent performance management framework across all academies within the Trust, ensuring staff feel valued and motivated. Support recruitment efforts and assist with the design and evaluation of new job roles, minimising legal risk and promoting staff retention. What we are looking for: To be considered a strong contender for this role, we are looking for a minimum HR qualification of CIPD level 5 and you will be a chartered member of the CIPD You will have experience working in a senior HR role with a strong track record of employee relations case management. You will be great at building relationships across the business and have experience coaching line managers to develop their people skills. It would be absolutely fantastic if you have worked in an education setting, however this is not essential, but with it being education, you will be dealing with trade unions and experience of trade unions are essential.
