Front of House Assistant Private Hospital Key Duties: Record and manage patient, visitor, and staff food and beverage orders, communicating effectively with the Head Chef or Sous Chef. Contribute to the creation of a front-of-house rota. Prepare patient trays and trolleys according to food and beverage orders. Assist in the preparation and service of sandwiches, salads, cold starters, and beverages for patients, visitors, and staff. Serve all food and beverages adhering to agreed-upon standards. Record and accommodate special dietary requirements for patients, visitors, and staff. Follow allergen identification processes, including daily updates of boards and loading of color-coded patient crockery. Key Accountabilities: Ensure accurate and complete documentation for all relevant tasks. Communicate any complaints related to food or Catering Dept. service to the CCM/Head Chef or escalate to the CCM if necessary. Maintain a record of complaints for continuous improvement. Uphold a high standard of customer service, encompassing presentation, hygiene, patient care, and personal appearance. Restock serveries, vending machines, and counters to predetermined levels. Take responsibility for vending cash up in the absence of a Coffee Shop HSA. Wash-up all soiled crockery, cutlery, glassware, etc., using appropriate methods if needed. Perform all duties, including cleaning tasks, to maintain a clean, tidy, and hygienic environment, meeting legislative and hospital requirements. Requirements: Immediate availability to start. Customer service-oriented with attention to detail. Smart and professional appearance. Ability to work weekends and adjust hours as required. Location: East Grinstead Working Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday - Friday Duration: Temporary - On Going Hourly Rate: £12.00 (Time and a half / Double for weekends)
