Our client is a growing global IT business who is seeking to hire an ambitious Assistant Financial Accountant. The role will suit a progressive ACA/ACCA/CIMA studier who is motivated to develop and progress their career with a forward thinking and fast growing business. Responsibilities: Financial ownership for a number of foreign (non-UK) entities (countries) within the Group. Produce monthly management accounts for each entity - prepayments, accruals etc. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for each entity. Ownership of Fiscal calendar for foreign entity accounts to include statutory year end and quarterly & annual tax schedules, ensuring filings completed within timescales. Manage external audit process with local accountants. Assist in production of foreign statutory accounts. Partner with local accountants to ensure compliance to foreign entity accounting policies and adherence to external statutory regulations (account filing etc) Reconcile statutory accounts to management accounts. Work with the team to manage all elements of the financial close cycle for local entities. A salary of £40,000-£45,000 is on offer plus 5% bonus, study and benefits.

Client Details We are seeking a self-motivated Assistant Accountant to perform a variety of accounting and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and prioritize duties, communicate effectively with all levels of management, and work in a fast-paced environment. Description Recording financial transactions in accounting software (Sage Line 50) accurately and efficiently for all aspects of the business. Preparing and posting invoices / journals / receipts & payments. Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts. Bank recs, supplier account recs, VAT returns, balance sheet recs. Assisting, where required, with collation of payroll information for our outsourced payroll provider. Assisting with general administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the Group. Profile AAT studier, early studier into ACCA/ CIMA Previous experience within a busy finance function. Proficiency in SAP Accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite essential. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices. Proven experience with assisting in the prep of management accounts. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to interact professionally.
