Reed Finance are supporting a highly successful and fast-growing privately owned business based near Marlow to recruit a Finance Manager to oversee their German subsidiary on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Group Finance Director and German MD, you will have overall responsibility over all areas of finance for the office in Germany, and be an instrumental part of introducing SAP across the business. This role will include occasional trips to the offices in Germany (expensed) and will act as a key bridge between there and the UK. You will be part of a small accounts team who are dedicated and passionate about what they do. Key Responsibilities include: Support the generation and review of monthly management reporting Production of annual budget and in year reforecasts Maintaining sales invoice data for monthly sales reporting Daily bank reconciliation Process and payment of purchase invoices ensuring proper approval Verification, reconciliation and processing of company credit card and employee expenses Reconcile sales, purchase and nominal ledger accounts Establish robust credit control procedures Maintain the fixed asset register and capital expenditure data Review monthly payroll process and maintain headcount data Monitor intercompany transactions for monthly reconciliation Manage monthly VAT return process Prepare monthly accruals and prepayments Assist our UK and US offices as required Stakeholder engagement (internal & external) You will ensure overall improvement of cashflow, streamline processes, and ensure all financial reporting is complete on time and to a high degree of accuracy. You will be excellent at sticking to deadlines, be friendly and approachable, and take an interest in becoming an integral part of the company's ongoing success story. You must be qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), with advanced Excel skills and experience in a multi-currency environment. This Paraplanning role Is suited to those who hold a Level 4 Diploma in Financial advice and have 2 years' experience within the role. They are looking for someone with great technical ability to support a recently appointed advisor. This is a hybrid role, with 1 day in the office, with the possibility to go to fully remote. The salary for the role is up to £50,000 depending on experience. The Company The financial advisory firm are a medium sized business who have been in operation for over 10 years who provide fee-based advice with their clients at the forefront of everything they do. The firm is completely independent with an administration team already in place and ready to assist you. The Role You will be providing Paraplanning support to one advisor. Working closely with the advisor and the administration team you'll be undertaking the necessary research in order to assist the advice process.
