The Role Working with the Financial Controller within the finance department of an asset finance leasing company to carry out key duties within the finance department and to meet the departments objectives, ensuring that effective financial systems processes and procedures are maintained, including compliance with relevant accounting standards and statutory regulations, and that current best practice for creating a strong control environment is employed within the department. The Responsibilities Provide support to the Financial Controller Responsible for the management of month end nominal reconciliations and the production of monthly data spreadsheets to deadline Producing month end management accounts pack and supporting schedules Production of KPI and other financial reports Preparing audit information & liaising with external auditors Full responsibility for the management of external funding facilities and associated tasks including block funders audits Assist with VAT and Tax computations Assist with sales and purchase transaction loading and receipts and payments loading to both SAGE and to the portfolio management system as required Assist with Accounts Payable management Portfolio Management Assist with the payout and authorisation function for new deals Setting up new agreements on our leasing system Assist with any other day to day processes for portfolio management Other Duties Provide support to other areas of the business to cover for busy periods, sickness or holidays as required Any other reasonable tasks at the request of the company management Analyse records to identify and resolve any queries Other ad hoc tasks and assistance as required Provide cover for junior members of the team Assist with training and development of the team / team members The Benefits Annual bonus scheme Free parking
