Assistant Management Accountant - Greater Manchester - Travel Industry. An excellent opportunity to join this growing team of an entrepreneurial travel business with ambitions of future growth. Paying up to £40,000. This is a hybrid role, with 4 days in their Manchester office and 1 from home. Assistant Management Accountant Responsibilities You will focus on overseeing the International day-to-day finance activities, production of monthly management accounts and MI. Working closely with the senior team to ensure training and development is completed to ensure delivery of the below tasks; Assistant Management Accountant Skills Required Recent senior level finance experience preferably in the travel or leisure sectors but other industry experience will also be considered. Manage and produce monthly management accounts and completion of monthly MI/Reporting Pack for review Working closely with the Ops department to ensure revenues and costs for events are accurately accounted for. Annual Budgeting & Forecasting Responsible for all VAT Returns Assist in production of CAR reporting and completion of Annual CAR licence to be reviewed by the Director of Finance. Liaise with external contacts as required Management of the Purchase Ledger to ensure timely collection of any debts and processing of invoices for payment. Lead annual audit process Completion of Intercompany invoices, working with the Finance Manager to confirm intercompany balances between all Group companies. Purchase order reviews ensuring all invoices are posted, purchase orders maintained, and any discrepancies resolved. Job Outline; As the Assistant Manager your role will be to support the Showroom Manager and the team in their day to day operations to continue the promotion of all Porcelanosa products to meet the customer requirements and expectations whilst ensuring service levels are maintained to the highest standards. Key skills and responsibilities of the job; Maintaining the operation of the showroom through the continued compliance to corporate operating procedures, policies and standards. Maintain communication channels between the team and Area Manager as appropriate to ensure staff and operational issues are raised and addressed. To assist in the showroom layout, merchandising and general appearance. To ensure the showroom is appropriately staffed to meet the service levels expected and required by our customers and visitors. To effectively and sympathetically resolve any customer complaints immediately they arise within the showroom. To have a good personal knowledge of the immediate market trends and ideas that influences store merchandising and operation. To assist in maintaining staff discipline through the application of Company policy.
