ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Store Operations Support Manager, the Assistant Store Operations Manager supports our stores in Ireland to deliver a world class operation for our customers. The key priorities for this role are the delivery of Boots Ireland loss, safety, governance, and model day process agendas across Ireland as well as the roll out of new initiatives in partnership with the Store Operations Support Manager.Travel to our stores Nationwide will be required. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Working with a team of field-based specialists to deliver the store operations support agenda in line with business objectivesShare best practice and work cross functionally to drive standards and identify areas for improvement and educationWorks in partnership with Irish and UK Central Operations function to respond appropriately to all incidents and investigationsConducting investigations into internal and external losses within stores, holding formal interviewing of colleagues and contractorsEncourage a strong safety culture in stores offering guidance and expertise and ensures compliance to all legal and regulatory requirementsRoll out of store projects with a collaborative mindset with store, area, and regional teams WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE Previous retail or retail supervision experienceThe ability to demonstrate strong analytical thinking Resilience and strong organisation skill with the ability to manage competing demandsAn understanding of stores and operational activity The ability to communicate complex information conciselyThe ability to be mobile across their region and support other regions when required IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU ALSO HAVE Completed IOSH Health & Safety investigation training, however, full training will be provided OUR BENEFITS Generous Employee DiscountEnhanced Leave EntitlementsCompany Pension We have a great range of benefits in addition to the above that go beyond salary and offer flexibility to suit you; Click Here to view our full list of company benefits (all rewards and benefits are subject to change and eligibility).
