Role: Health and Social Care Trainer and Assessor (Level 2) Location: Lancashire Type: Full time, temporary Rate:£28 per hour Eden Brown Education are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic Health and Social Care trainer / assessor to work on behalf of a leading Further Education College in Lancashire. This is a full time temporary position to start in June. The successful candidate will deliver training, assessment and quality assurance of the colleges work-based learning programmes, in line with the colleges Apprenticeship Strategy. The hours are 8.30a,m - 5pm Monday - Thursday and 8.30 am - 4.30 pm on Fridays. To apply for the role is essential that you have relevant occupational experience along with assessing experience in Health and Social Care. You will also have Literacy and Numeracy to at least Level 2, Assessor qualification (A1, CAVA,ATAQA, D33), and a minimum level 3 in a Health and Social Care related subject. As a Caretaker you will provide day-to-day caretaking and cleaning operations. You will be working out of the Burnley Depo (BB12 6LT) Requirements Outline of Key responsibilities for the Caretaker... Working to the Together Housing specification and service standards, carry out caretaking and cleaning duties to internal and external communal areas of Together Housing properties and the open hard landscaped spaces on our estates using a combination of hand tools, power tools and chemical agents. Clean all internal communal areas including floors, walls, window sills and frames, glass (internal facing), stairs, railings, ceilings, light fittings and lifts as set out in the service standard(s). Exchange paladin type bins to ensure none over fill within the bin store, present bins for collection as specified and return emptied bins to the store. Clean paladin type bins. Clear litter, rubbish and fly tipping from internal communal areas. Check for, keep and report evidence which may identify the person(s) responsible. Inspect all internal & external communal areas for hazards, damage, defects and graffiti; make safe, carry out minor repairs and/or report any issues ensuring the safety and security of our residents at all times. Carry out compliance checks (such as emergency lighting, fire alarm testing, checking lifts) as instructed and record these as required Use a small pedestrian mower to carry out grass cutting around blocks if and where required Act as a point of contact for residents, responding to their queries, liaising with Together Housing colleagues where necessary & giving an excellent standard of customer service We are looking for someone who has... Full UK Driving Licence (Manual) Practical experience of Cleaning or Caretaking Experience working in a customer orientated environment.
