The role will be assisting SYNOD SOLUTIONS LTD Examination Centre with all aspects of exams process. The successful candidate will be tasked with the responsibility of overseeing students as they complete examinations and ensuring accurate data records are maintained on our Exam Centre Management Information System. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is required Minimum of 1 year customer service experience is preferred but not essential Experience proctoring or invigilating exams is preferred however mandatory training will be provided Essential Skills Must be flexible in work hours and days Beginner to intermediate experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) Computer literacy for programs such as, browsers, operating systems and exam workstations. Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time and also escort candidates to and from examination room. Must be able to bend, stoop and lift computers, chairs, tables etc with reasonable accommodation. Must be comfortable in a quiet testing environment, hear soft voices and see details from a distance. Exceptional Professionalism, integrity and attention to detail Strong time management, organisational skills and ability to work independently and as part of the team Strong Dispute resolution and professional judgement with a positive attitude Responsibilities The Examination and Data Processing Administrator position is responsible for providing a secure exam delivery and professional customer service in a comfortable friendly environment. In this position, you will be required to: Comply with all Examination procedures and strictly adhere to company policies using careful professional judgment Check in examination candidates, verify identification, read and explain instructions and process to examination candidates. Understand the rules and regulations of each exam to enforce them effectively. This includes knowing the time allotted for completing the exams. Proctor / invigilate candidates while they are completing their exams, ensuring distractions are eliminated and deterring exams dishonesty Supervise the exam room to ensure rules are being followed at all times and ensure the environment is suitable for exam-taking, which includes properly spaced seating, designated areas for bags or coats, and when necessary checking the room temperature. Tracking candidates admitted to Exam Centre, in accordance with secure check-in procedure and monitoring exams candidates continuously throughout the entire exam session. Troubleshoot with internal departments to fix technical issues Complete light housekeeping duties such as clearing examination desk and sanitizing keyboards after all candidates have finished their examination per session. Fluency in writing invigilation report and detailing all examination irregularities if any at the end of each exams Other tasks as assigned All candidates needs to be screened appropriately in line with our policy: ID check, including address and National Insurance verification Right to work check Employment history verification Criminal record check Adverse Financial check Schedule Requirements The successful candidate must demonstrates teamwork, with the availability to work a variety of shifts any day - Monday through Sunday - between the hours of 7 am and 8:30 pm, sometimes until 10 pm on Monday to Friday. Candidate must be open to flexible scheduling as hours could be extended with business need. This is strictly: Full-time position which will remain as such, 20-30 hours per week, with an expectation to work more hours if needed. And Part-time position which will remain as such, 10-15 hours per week, with an expectation to work more hours if needed. Shift Schedules are available at least 2 weeks in advance.
