The main focus will be on visiting supported accommodation where residents may be vulnerable.
Key Accountabilities
Responsible for delivering, to a high standard, the visiting support service menus, working across the Assessment Hub as a pooled resource to ensure effective operation of the services.
Providing comprehensive assessments around support needs and identifying opportunities for appropriate move-on options and successfully achieving those move-ons to a targeted timescale.
To work as part of a team providing the a Shelter as an accommodation, assessment and support service for people experiencing rough sleeping.
To hold responsibility for applying expertise of relevant legislation and to use your initiative to achieve good outcomes for people who use the service.
" The Home Purchase and Acquisitions Officer is responsible for financial assessments for potential homeowners and ensuring the smooth transition into their new homes.
Additionally, the Officer will be required to liaise with internal stakeholders, such as the Housing Development Team, to identify opportunities for new acquisitions and ensure that all property purchases align with the Council's strategic objectives.
The role also includes the management of a small, shared ownership portfolio including stair-casing and the collection of service charges and rent.
General duties of a Review Officer with excellent knowledge and practical application of the law.
Experience of carrying out robust enquiries and sound decision making is essential.
Candidates must have experience of dealing with solicitors and other advocates representing clients requesting reviews under section 202 of the Housing Act.

There is a need to travel and visit members of the public to take statement, therefore you will need to pass a check drive so you drive fleet cars or have access to your own vehicle with business insurance (expenses will be covered).
To gather information, analyse and assess to manage risk, re-offending and safety/wellbeing accurately using appropriate screening and assessment tools; taking necessary measures to ensure welfare needs are dealt with effectively and public protection considerations are appropriately managed.
To effectively engage with young people from diverse backgrounds at all stages of case management including during assessment, review and delivery of interventions/programmes.
To create in conjunction with young people and families, bespoke intervention plans to address all areas of need and to regularly review the plans to ensure their suitability and effectiveness.
