Castings Technician Job Role Our client based in Bury St Edmunds currently have a vacancy in their busy foundry for a casting technician. The successful candidate will be working within their existing team, manufacturing cast parts for a wide and varied customer/application base. This position has become available due to a significant increase in workload and the successful candidate must be flexible to undertake various duties to ensure product manufacture meets all criteria and delivery targets. Job Responsibilities Finishing castings to a high standard by de-burring, cutting and grinding imperfections from the castings. Person specification To perform all tasks with regards to health and safety. In addition to these duties, a knowledge of general maintenance would be beneficial. Full training and safety equipment will be given to the successful candidate.
