Working in a highly regulated environment the role of the Tooling Design Engineer is to develop bespoke hardware designs to support programme requirements.
As we move into an exciting phase in our programme, we have a number of opportunities for Tooling Design Engineers to join AWE and support our vital role in keeping the Nation safe.
Not only do we analyse samples from customers' homes, but we also test samples from abstraction, through our sites, and into supply.
Our laboratories play a key role in monitoring the safety and cleanliness of drinking water and ensuring waste is treated properly.
This is a great opportunity to put your skills into action in our labs, where we test over 2 million samples a year to ensure the highest quality drinking water is delivered across the Thames Water region.

We are currently looking for full time (Monday Friday) qualified plumbers and leak detection engineers with experience of power flushing (not essential) with a full UK driving license to carry out a range of services associated with plumbing, investigate, diagnose and repairing of both domestic and commercial premises.
You will be carrying out all types of plumbing work, including reactive maintenance such as tap replacements, cistern repairs, stopcock changes, installing cylinders, cold water storage tanks and showers, pumps, tiling, basic carpentry works and some plastering and patch work.
