Working as a key manager within the apprenticeships division, the role will involve the line management, quality assurance and compliance monitoring of the pastoral and careers provision for apprentices, working to the colleges strategy of developing a high-quality provision in line with the LSIP and enhancing the apprentice and employer experience. The role will includes day-to-day management, control and operation of the pastoral and careers provision for apprentices. Efficient and effective line management of a team of Apprentice Progress Coaches The monitoring and reporting of data / statistical information to meet KPIs Effective reporting and communication of apprentice progress to college leaders and delivering a high-quality apprenticeship learning experience Close monitoring of attendance, achievement and retention Development a pastoral and personal development curriculum for apprentices and engage apprentices in enrichment activities, community outreach and volunteering We are looking for someone who has experience in developing and delivering a pastoral, personal development and/or careers curriculum and who understands data management and preparing management reports including experience in a quality assurance role. To be successful in this role you will be able to meet challenging targets and have proven competence of management and delivering in a training environment. Suitable candidates will hold a recognised teaching and /or assessment qualification (TAQA, A1, V1 or equivalent) and be qualified to Degree level or have relevant prior experience. The post holder will support our learners through tutorials and delivery of lessons and support in sourcing work placements. The role will also involve planning lessons that include an understanding of wider skills topics and personal development. You will also offer pastoral support, advice and guidance to students, monitor attendance and wellbeing and liaise with parents and the Student Liaison Officer to ensure students achieve the best outcome from their programme of study.
