Supporting the Assembly Area Department outside of regular hours, as needed. Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards. Strong communication skills to liaise with personnel at all levels. Job Title: Production Engineer - Lathe Area Department Location: Mildenhall Hours: Various Day & Night shift patterns available Join a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you'll be responsible for maintaining 16 Multispindle Lathe Machines and associated equipment operating 24/7! Key duties include: Utilising a range of tool room/workshop-based machinery. Proficient in Lathe Machines, preferably Multispindle, with 5-10 years of experience in a production environment, ideally on a 24/7 or shift basis. Demonstrating strong mechanical aptitude to diagnose machine wear and component quality faults. Being disciplined, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team. Providing support to the Lathe Area Department beyond regular working hours when necessary. Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards and excellent communication skills to interact with personnel at all levels. Training and Development: Our client offers a comprehensive on-the-job training and guidance, fostering your growth within the team and the company. Key Responsibilities Include: Assisting the Department Head in maintaining product output in the Lathe Area Department. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
