Job Title: Application Packager Day Rate: £400 to £450 p/d Inside IR35 Hybrid Location: 2 days per week in Central London office with remaining days remote Contract Length: Initial 6 Months but highly likely to be extended About the Client and Role: An opening for a Application Packager has just become available for a leading financial services firm located in Central London on an initial 6-month basis. As the Application Packager, you will be responsible for building and delivering application packages in line with SLAs. Key responsibilities: The primary responsibility entails constructing and distributing application packages within specified SLAs to cater to global usage. Capable of serving as a subject matter expert for specialized products within the realm of Application Services. Spearhead and oversee engineering endeavors, collaborating with colleagues both within and outside the team. Translate requirements into recommended technical solutions for management consideration. Develop design and operational documentation with meticulous attention to detail. Provide guidance and support to fellow team members through mentoring and coaching. Cultivate and sustain relationships with support teams and managers across client locations. Contribute to the establishment and refinement of processes and policies within the governance framework through the creation and review of documentation. Product Specialist Team Private Debt / Product Division: The DWS Product Division is responsible for the entire lifecycle of all new and existing products across all types of investments and structures. Within the Product Division, the Product Specialist team for Private Debt takes responsibility globally for Real Estate Debt, Infrastructure Debt, Corporate Private Credit and Structured Credit. Your key responsibilities As Senior Product Specialist for Private Debt with a focus on Corporate Private and Structured Credit (Alternative Credit), you will be part of the Private Debt Product Specialists team, owning and driving the product agenda for Alternative Credit strategies across DWS. Key responsibilities include: Acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for existing and new product initiatives including the coordination of the product roadmap for fundraising jointly with the Client Coverage Division (CCD) Lead the development of new concepts in partnership with CCD and the Investment Division (ID) to extend access to Alternatives with a focus on Alternative Credit to different client segments, especially the Wholesale and Retail client channels Lead content development incl. pitchbooks, market and peer analysis and provide ongoing training and transparency to CCD Attend industry conferences to present DWS' Private Debt capabilities, maintain market knowledge and understand the competitive landscape Being directly accountability for the end-to-end design of investment solutions in your respective area of responsibility Your skills and experience Excellent Asset Management experience in a comparable role with Private Debt or Alternative Credit knowledge Experience with Corporate Private Credit, Structured Credit and traditional Fixed Income as well as strong knowledge of fund structures, regulatory and tax treatment Strong knowledge of Insurance regulation and capital charge treatment of Alternative Credit asset classes Strong strategic mindset with proven ability to work collaboratively to define and implement business initiatives Excellent communication skills with experience in presenting regularly to senior forums internally and externallyDelivery focused, with strong resilience, drive and the ability to work hand in hand with par
