A quick look at the role The BI Analyst is responsible for creating and amending reports and analysing data to generate insights and identify opportunities for improvement. You will engage, coordinate, and communicate effectively with the business to capture and then fulfil their requirements ensuring that the reports and insight can be used effectively to maximise operational effectiveness and profitability. Recent graduates with relevant technical expertise but limited experience would be considered for this role. Your core responsibilities Lead on data related aspects of projects, working closely with the BI Manager and relevant stakeholders. Engage with internal stakeholders, to understand and deliver their reporting, data and analysis requirements, supporting data driven decision making. Produce and automate reporting, dashboards and apps, developing new and amending existing BI reporting to fulfil business needs, applying best practice. Assist development and continual improvement of data sources and data models working with the central BI team. Build relationships across the business to assist reporting, analysis and data. Act as a liaison for technical, functional, and non-functional teams. Ensure the quality and integrity of the data is fit for purpose and is cleansed where required. Ensure data security is considered and best practice followed. Respond to data, reporting and analysis requests and enquiries, resolving any access and security issues as appropriate. Support, engage and advise business stakeholders, enabling appropriate access to reports. Monitor report performance and business usage, providing analysis and identifying concerns and opportunities. Proactive analysis to identify opportunities to improve business performance and communicate these to business stakeholders, using reporting to track progress. Preferred qualifications 2 years of professional experience in the market research field Experience translating complex data sets into clear and compelling written narratives Strong presentation skills specifically speaking about research methodologies and findings Understanding of basic statistics Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, SPSS, Tableau
