We're looking for a dedicated Senior Behaviour Support Worker to join our team at Glebedale School. About the role As a Senior Behaviour Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in promoting positive behaviour and supporting students with behavioural challenges. Working closely with teachers, counsellors, and other professionals, you will develop and implement personalised behaviour support plans to meet the individual needs of our students. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing one-on-one support, conducting assessments, and offering consultations to our staff. Qualifications: GCSE level 4 in Maths and English Previous experience working in a school setting, preferably in a behaviour support role. Strong understanding of behavioural principles and evidence-based interventions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Crisis intervention training and certification preferred. About us Glebedale School is a special needs school which provides provision for boys and girls aged 7 years and upwards. We provide a nurturing and welcoming environment to SEMH pupils, and our curriculum has a keen focus on therapy, education and personal development.
