Working as part of an expert multiskilled team you will be responsible for the design of repairs on metallic and composite structures.
Your primary role will be to work closely with Static Stress and F&DT engineers to develop and validate repairs to damaged aircraft structures.
Additionally as the Design Engineer you are required to integrate the repair solution which will involve liaising with stakeholders to ensure all relevant requirements are identified and met.

We are recruiting for a Buyer for a leading Aerospace organisation based in Filton, The role will be onsite for a familiarisation period then will be 3 days a week onsite, 2 days WFH.
Act as the focal point for your contracts covering various commercial programmes with Aerostructures Procurement to lead projects as needed, manage the day-to-day relationships with suppliers and optimise customer value, while minimising total cost of ownership & risks.
The role contributes to all sourcing activities throughout the contract life cycle, managing tendering and contract negotiation including cost reduction and change management.
