This very professional legal firm our searching for a friendly HR Advisor with HR experience across the board. You will be assisting the HR Manager with the implementation of the strategy for HR management and development You will be supporting with general administrative tasks that will include preparing all internal and external HR correspondence, recruitment, contractual and payroll documentation You will be advising managers and employees on all policies, procedures, and legislative changes, together with the preparation of HR updates with regards to a monthly newsletter Co-ordination and implementation of all formal and informal meetings such as probationary reviews, disciplinary meetings, grievance meetings, redundancy meetings, flexible working meetings, mediation meetings, exit interviews and maternity meetings when required. The upkeep of records on the HR System (HiBob). This includes personnel, training and recruitment records as well as implementing workflows to streamline the process Maintaining the administration of all of the firm's benefit schemes, which there are plenty! To record, monitor, administer and report on information such as headcount, DE&I, absence, costs, sickness, holidays etc for the purpose of ensuring that records are produced accurately and timely as well as for internal reporting and payroll reporting purposes for new starter documentation for the HR Manager including but not limited to offer letters, Maintaining contracts, staff handbooks and induction packs. This extends to liaising with other teams within the firm (such as the Business Support Services Team) to ensure that the new starter checklist is followed before the employees first day and to co-ordinate all induction training, as well as induction presentations as and when required by the HR Manager Booking and co-ordinating all training activity for teams in addition to induction training. This will involve the co-ordination, monitoring and reporting on all training activity arranged and undertaken as well as ensuring effective feedback is received and follow up meetings completed with Managers. General administration of the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) and attending all administration related to staff leaving the firm (using Leaver Checklist) and updates. Supporting IT problems within the HR team to the IT Team and escalated to IT Director if necessary You need to be very upbeat, confident and able to spin many plates. IT literate with Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook if possible and working with firm's work experience programme ensuring that placements are effectively arranged utilising all the software to enharnce your role. To ensure that all teams adhere to the firm's policy on work experience placements and report to the HR Manager if necessary. Responsible for the firm's Vacation Placement Scheme and ensuring that all suitable candidates are selected, and placements are effectively arranged with teams.
