Monday - Friday working only My client is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced HGV Service Advisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Service Advisor, preferably within the heavy goods vehicle (HGV) industry. Responsibilities: Act as the primary point of contact for HGV customers, providing exceptional customer service and support throughout their service experience. Schedule service appointments and efficiently manage the workshop diary to maximise productivity. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their service requirements and provide accurate quotations. Liaise with the workshop team to ensure timely completion of service and repair work, keeping customers informed of progress. Conduct vehicle inspections and accurately document service and repair findings. Proactively identify additional service and repair opportunities, up selling relevant products and services to customers. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service history using our internal systems. Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean and organised workshop environment. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Service Advisor, preferably within the HGV industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficiency in computer software systems, including MS Office and CRM software. Knowledge of HGV maintenance and repair procedures is advantageous. A proactive and customer-focused approach to problem-solving. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license is preferred.
