A leading law firm is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Advocate to join their team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with higher rights of audience or a barrister early in their career looking for a challenging and rewarding environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver advocacy and advice on cases related to housing conditions, specifically landlord repair failures. Represent clients in court and at hearings, ensuring the best possible outcomes. Provide expert advice and guidance to fee-earning staff on various cases. Assist in drafting Particulars of Claim and other legal documents. Collaborate with other in-house counsel and senior solicitors to ensure comprehensive case management. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, ensuring all advice and advocacy are based on current legal standards. Manage a caseload efficiently, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of client care. Requirements: Solicitor with higher rights of audience or a barrister early in their career. Strong advocacy skills with a focus on housing conditions and landlord repair issues. Experience in delivering legal advice and representing clients in court. Ability to draft legal documents, including Particulars of Claim. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
