Pertemps Milton Keynes branch is seeking an experienced and organised Administrator or Transport Clerk to join our client in Milton Keynes on a temporary basis. Monday to Friday £11.55ph 1000 - 1800 The Role: We are looking for a friendly and proactive individual with to assist with the day-to-day operation of an incredibly busy transport department. Your role will entail: Greeting drivers with a warm smile and friendly conversation. Ensure that each driver receives the correct set of keys for their assigned vehicle and all necessary paperwork, such as delivery schedules or service instructions. It's all about attention to detail. Keeping senior staff informed of any delays, time changes or problems encountered during vehicle tracking. Build rapport with your drivers and establish an open line of communication. De-briefing to ensure that the journey was safe and efficient for both the driver and the passengers. It's a time to discuss any issues or concerns that may have arisen during the shift, allowing for adjustments to be made if necessary. Tacho & Infringement management This is a temporary role last 6-8 weeks, there is potential for the role to extend beyond this period. Successful Applicants Ideally you will have previous expereience within a transport office, you will be a people person with excellent administration and organisation skills.
