My client is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join a team of 7. The client is looking to recruit a candidate on an initially temporary basis for a minimum of 4 months, however for the right candidate this will go permanent. The Accounts Assistant will report directly to the Finance Director to assistant with account needs including purchase ledger and sales ledger responsibilities. The client is looking to recruit a candidate on initially temporary basis for a minimum of 4 months, however for the right candidate this will go permanent. The Accounts Assistant will report directly to the Finance Director to assist with account needs including purchase ledger and sales ledger responsibilities. Description Assist in the preparation of financial reports Manage invoice processing and expense reports Handle petty cash and reimbursements Maintain and update financial records Support the finance team in monthly closings Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards Contribute to the team's efforts in meeting financial objectives Perform other duties as assigned in the Accounting & Finance department Profile Be immediately available to start work. Be able to get to Sheffield 5 days a week. Have experience with both purchase ledger and sales ledger. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in MS Excel. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Good communication skills and a team player attitude. Job Offer A salary equilvient ro £25,000. Temporary on-going contract (minimum of 4 months). Immediate start. Sheffield location. Free car parking. Potential to go permanent.
