Your new role As Audit and Accounts Manager, you will work for a developing chartered accountancy firm in Bristol, supervising the supply of audit, accounts, and other wide-ranging services and consultancy, as well as planning projects for a diverse client base with a revenue of up to £40 million. The firm has a strong reputation in the South West and beyond, and it represents clients in a wide range of industries and sectors. You'll have a lot of client interaction and management responsibilities, and the Directors are looking for someone with the gravitas and experience to manage client relationships autonomously, develop connections, and scope for added value advising work. You will lead larger teams and play an important role in their development. You can also look to build, expand, and grow the department through new customer growth and company development. What you'll need to succeed You will be ACA/ACCA qualified, or equivalent, with a background in audit/accounting and general accountancy practice service delivery to a wide range of smaller clients under the audit threshold in turnover, as well as limited company clients, SMES, OMBs, and other businesses over the audit threshold in turnover. Alternatively, you may have spent your entire career in a larger company focusing solely on auditing large corporate clients and are looking for a transfer to a smaller business with more autonomy, influence, and control over your own career path. As a result, your career could have started at any size accounting firm.
