Due to internal promotion and associated succession planning, we are seeking an individual who has worked in a smaller organisation with a varied remit and is happy to come in and hit the ground running. Responsibilities: Ownership of day-to-day finance operations Supporting and mentoring an Accounts Assistant - predominantly handles data entry and invoicing (purchase and sales) Completion of payment runs Supplier and customer point of contact for any financial queries Payroll for circa 20 members of staff VAT calculations and submissions Supporting the preparation process for yearend and audit Profile: AAT Qualified, ACCA/CIMA Studier, all to be considered Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in finance/accounts Exposure to Sage would be useful, must be comfortable manipulating information on Excel Accustomed to a smaller business environment - role can vary and be reactive depending on company requirements Could have worked in one of the following capacities: Assistant Accountant, Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Bookkeeper On Offer: Circa £35k DOE 24 days holiday bank holiday Free parking Career prospects
