I am working with a Property/Construction company looking to hire an Assistant Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone studying their ACCA/CIMA. ? Hybrid: 3 days in 2 from home ?? Salary: Up to £35,000 ?? Location: City of London What can you expect? Processing purchase invoices via the order system. Executing monthly payment runs (BACS, CHAPS, Euro, etc.) Conducting monthly bank reconciliations in various currencies. Timely issuance of sales invoices, both external and intra-group. Posting and reconciling inter-group trading transactions monthly. Maintaining PL reconciliation sheets for group/project companies daily. Assisting in quarterly VAT return estimations. Contributing to quarterly and year-end budgeting and forecasting. Engaging in the year-end closing process. Generating ad-hoc financial analyses as needed. Supporting Project Accountants/Finance Managers in quarter-end closing activities (accruals, prepayments, etc.) Aiding in the preparation of board reports and model updates. Investigating and resolving internal or external inquiries. What can you bring? Actively studying and in the early stage of ACCA/CIMA. Experience within a Construction/ Property industry. Able to work effectively within a team. Good communication skills both written and oral. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong organisational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritise. Able to work under pressure and deliver to agreed deadlines with attention to detail. Excellent working knowledge of Excel.
