The Finance Analyst, reporting to the Senior Finance and Business Development Manager plays a key role in business partnering with the Irish Leadership Team and supporting other functions. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a growing area of the International Retail Pharmacy Business. You will play a key role in business analysis and decision support to maximise operational performance in the Boots Ireland business. All about the role Analytical support for pharmacy producing high quality timely and actionable insights and supports to drive pharmacy strategy.Support Senior Finance and Business Development Manager in partnering the pharmacy team developing financial awareness and driving engagement in forecast / performance review process.Provide analysis and insight to highlight trends and drivers of performance.Ad hoc analysis / reporting such as trends analysis, store performance, profitability analysis, debtor conversion and funding.Weekly and monthly MI reporting for pharmacy and services.Support of month end close out, board reporting and weekly / monthly KPI reporting.Support for key deliverables such as budget, 3-year plan, and updated forecasts, including detailed budgeted phasing by pharmacy category.Ownership of pharmacy supplier invoicing and query resolution process.Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders.Liaison with 3rd party services provider for general processing, balance sheet reconciliations and payments.Work closely with the operational teams to undertake performance deep dives as required.Support the wider team with ad hoc finance analysis and project work. What you will need to have ACA/ACCA/CIMA part qualified with prior analyst experience.Highly analytical and technically competent.Will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to all stakeholders. Building and maintaining strong relationships with finance partners.Have an ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accuracy whilst working at pace.Be proactive in approach with the ability to identify issues and drive actions through to conclusion.Have strong data manipulation and software skills including use of Excel.
