Management Accountant Annual Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Location: Southend (with some travel to London) - this is an office-based position Job Type: Full-time Reed Finance are supporting our client, who are seeking a fully qualified Management Accountant to join our team. This role requires a professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience in management or financial accounting within a commercial setting or a chartered accountancy firm. The successful candidate will be involved in both management and financial accounting tasks, working closely with various teams to support and drive financial performance. Day-to-day of the role: Management Accounting: Liaise with sales, sourcing, and operations teams to prepare sales & margin reports and sales forecasts. Maintain costing sheets for products and prepare a weekly purchase order log. Review periodical stock reports, monitor stock usage, and ensure efficient use of stocks and warehouse spaces. Financial Accounting: Assist the Financial Controller with the preparation of monthly and quarterly accounts and ensure compliance with bank and brand owner requirements. Conduct variance analysis of operating expenses and collaborate with functional managers to take corrective actions. Prepare weekly and quarterly cash flow statements. Required Skills & Qualifications: Fully qualified ACA, CIMA, or ACCA. Minimum of 3 years of experience in management or financial accounting. Proficiency in using SAGE 200 or equivalent accounting packages and ERP systems. Advanced skills in Excel. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with non-financial managers. Ability to work to strict deadlines.
