I am delighted to be partnering with a market leading organisation based near Diss seeking to recruit a Management Accountant in a key role responsible for the preparation, development and analysis of key financial information enabling the management team to make well-informed decisions regarding future stability, growth and profitability. Key responsibilities will include: Preparation of management accounts for a subsidiary and assisting in other UK subsidiaries; Consolidation of other UK&I entities in Group format; Input in preparation of management accounts for other group companies; Presentation and review of UK customer profitability reports; Preparation and presentation of other financial data; Business relationship partnership within different areas of the organisation; Daily sales reporting for UK; Assistance with group budgeting process; Assistance with annual subsidiary audit; Periodic provision of cover for other members of the management accounts team during key projects; Responsibility of assisting in the internal audit function for UK; Assistance with implementing corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls identified; Assistance with monitoring and evaluation financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed. The successful candidate will be part qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with demonstrable experience in a finance role, a good general understanding of IT systems and effective communication skills. The role: Support the Management Accounts Manager with the Group's management accounting processes and procedures. Assisting in the preparation of the monthly profit and loss accounts and commentary Review nominal ledgers and process accounting transactions to support the preparation of monthly profit and loss accounts and balance sheet Continuous review of procedures to identify efficiencies and to implement continuous change Assisting the Management Accounts Manager in the control and reconciling of balance sheets and identifying and reporting on key movements in month and YTD Preparing cost centre variance analysis, investigating, and explaining variances Supporting in preparation of annual budgets and forecasting Accruals and prepayments Balance sheet reconciliations Provide analysis as required for P&L spend and identify risks to budget Skills required: Part qualified accountant or AAT Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent); Intermediate Excel skills.
