Job Title: Warehouse Operative with Driving Duties Location: Dunmurry Salary and Benefits: £11.44 per hour- Temporary Contract- with the opportunity of a possible Permanent Contract Hours of work: Mon to Thurs- 8am- 5pm - Fri 8am-1pm Employment Type- Temporary ongoing with the possible opportunity of a Permanent Contract. Immediate start The Right Client- My client is a successful family run Business in Dunmurry. To assist with a busy stock take they are now looking for a Warehouse Operative on a Temporary Business. The Right Fit: Receive, unload, and store incoming stock and materials Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently Keep warehouse clean and organized at all times Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages to management Follow company safety protocols and guidelines at all times Assist with stock counts Ideally you will have previous experience in a busy Warehouse Environment. Previous Driving experience is essential as a full clean driving license as you may be required to so some driving as part of the role.
Grounds Person An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Grounds Person to join a leading organisation based in Newtownabbey. Job Role: You will be responsible to the Grounds Supervisor to assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the Grounds facilities. Essential Criteria: Minimum of 1 years' experience in the maintenance of grounds and gardens primarily in a non-domestic role. Basic numeracy and literacy skills, as evidenced by qualification. Experience in the operation and routine maintenance of ride on, and push mowers and other handheld pedestrian guided horticultural machinery. Experience of working with and identification of tree, shrubs and bedding plants. Experience of driving and operating a tractor and a range of mounted or trailed implements. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Good understanding and knowledge of health and safety issues in the horticulture sector. Ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative. Full current driving licence and willingness to travel between sites and work out of normal working hours to deal with emergencies and breakdowns. Desirable Criteria: Formal horticultural qualification e.g. City and Guilds Stage 1 or 2 Amenity Horticulture NVQ level 1 or 2, or equivalent. Lantra approved tractor operation competence certificate. PA1 and PA6a chemical application certificate City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 Award in Chainsaw maintenance and Basic Cross cutting Experience of nursery work including setting up floral displays. Practical experience of seasonal aspects of turf culture and planted area maintenance. Main Duties and Responsibilities: General maintenance of gardens, grounds, sports fields, all weather pitches, and other external areas within the premises. Carry out a given programme of works as required. Undertake work using own initiative with minimum supervision. Comply with all rules and in particular the Health & Safety at Work Regulations. Communicate and liaise with other trades, line management and other department staff in pursuance of duties. Provide attendance to other trades staff as necessary. Advise Grounds Supervisor on condition/defects and safety of equipment. Advise on quantities of available stored materials. Maintain records including time sheets, job records, machinery checks, chemical records and Permits to Work. Undertake training where necessary. Carry out all emergency repairs as directed and provide attendance outside normal working hours when contactable. Display competence with machinery/equipment use and maintenance; including tractors, chainsaws, and pedestrian mowers with accreditation as required for Health and Safety compliance. Drive and operate business vehicles as required tractor, dumper, lorry (non-HGV) etc. Utilise computer technology in support of work and undertake appropriate training as requested.
