We are looking for an Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Account Manager's role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers and develop new business from existing clients. Key responsibilities: To build and maintain strong, long lasting client relationships. To serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters. To ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives. To develop and maintain a good understanding of the products and services that the Company offers and be able to advise others about them. To generate new / additional business with existing clients, including upselling and cross selling. To work to and consistently achieve sales / revenue targets as determined by the business. Monitor your own progress. To forecast and track key account metrics e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts. To prepare reports on account status. To track orders through from production to completion, liaising with suppliers to ensure jobs are completed to the deadline date. To monitor orders for your assigned customers and notify them of updates or changes on a timely and regular basis. To ensure that all required client and sales data is accurately inputted into the Company system(s). To check that your Client's account balances are paid up to date and liaise with credit control to ensure terms are adhered to. To help deal with any client/supplier issues, ensuring that any are dealt with in a swift and efficient manner. Ensure that required procedures followed. To identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors. To maintain professional and technical knowledge by, for example, participating in educational webinars / workshops, undertaking research, reviewing professional publications. To undertake accurate and timely sales administration activities. To ensure that you understand and comply with all company policies and procedures in relation to health and safety at work.
