The Role: We are seeking a Junior Audio-Visual Engineer to join our team and assist in the installation of high-end AV solutions for our prestigious clients in London and the surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities: 1st & 2nd fix AV installations, including home cinemas, projectors, speakers, touch panels, CCTV, access control, and data networks. Perform data cabling for AV systems. Assemble AV racks and mount equipment. Commission newly installed AV systems. Work with various control systems, including Lutron, Crestron, Control4, and KNX. Respond to service calls as needed. Essential Qualities and Skills: Full UK driving licence. Experience assembling audio-visual racks. Proficiency in cable termination. In Return: The successful candidate will receive an annual salary of £25,000 - £30,000, depending on experience, in addition to 20 days' annual leave, bank holidays, and paid expenses. Overtime rates are also available at time and a half for weekend work. Audio Visual Commissioning Engineer/Technical Lead Prospero Integrated are currently searching for an experienced AV Commissioning Engineer to join an energetic, success-driven integrator. Key Details: Permanent London Up to £50k Responsibilities: Commission bespoke AV solutions ranging from standalone meet spaces to complex fully integrated multi-room systems. Assist in the second fix of AV systems by supplying design drawings and cable schedules to the highest possible standard Provide project details and equipment specifications to in-house and third-party control programmers, assisting with control system programming and any issues Set up, test and commission systems on-site to meet the required standards Completion (and where appropriate, documentation) of as-built version of configuration software for DSPs, Matrixes etc Support the Project Managers with all technical aspects of project delivery, in documentation, liaising with 3rd parties, design drawings etc. Provide technical support for all installed systems including technical advice to the client and other team members Provide technical support for on-site system maintenance, system repairs and modifications after project completion Provide technical information and support for Sales, Installation and Project Management staff Supervising system pre-staging works at client & company premises to the required standard Skills Required: In depth professional AV engineering knowledge ? Audio DSPs, VC platforms, Video distribution, basic networking Communication skills - ability to deal confidently and efficiently with customers, whether face-to-face, via VC meetings, or over the phone. Experience in commissioning and fault-finding of complex AV systems Understanding of the design and scope of a bespoke modern AV solutions Audio DSP experience (QSC, Biamp, Shure) Experience with network audio standards (Dante, AES67, AVB) Control system programming experience preferred (Crestron and QSC) Experience with VC/UC Platforms (Zoom, Teams, Meet etc) Experience with Video distributing & AVOIP.
