The Role: We are seeking a Junior Audio-Visual Engineer to join our team and assist in the installation of high-end AV solutions for our prestigious clients in London and the surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities: 1st & 2nd fix AV installations, including home cinemas, projectors, speakers, touch panels, CCTV, access control, and data networks. Perform data cabling for AV systems. Assemble AV racks and mount equipment. Commission newly installed AV systems. Work with various control systems, including Lutron, Crestron, Control4, and KNX. Respond to service calls as needed. Essential Qualities and Skills: Full UK driving licence. Experience assembling audio-visual racks. Proficiency in cable termination. In Return: The successful candidate will receive an annual salary of £25,000 - £30,000, depending on experience, in addition to 20 days' annual leave, bank holidays, and paid expenses. Overtime rates are also available at time and a half for weekend work. This position reports to a Technical Supervisor, Technical Manager, Senior ProjectManager,or a Technical Events Manager subject to function and region. Key Responsibilities: Assist in cleaning, testing, maintaining, prepping and repairing equipment prior to anevent Drive Results - Ensures a flawlessly executed event through accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment as listed in the technical qualifications section. Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly as they arise. Adhere to health and safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE. Report all health and safety issues to the HSE Manager or Project Manager onsite. At times the technicians will work as part of a team on larger scale projects. Deliver World Class Service - Strives to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers. Values People - Maintains a positive relationship with all clients through effective communication. Meets with guests on site to ensure that their needs aremet,and the equipment setup is working properly. Monitors events and checks in on customers throughout the day.
