Our well established client is seeking a expereinced Legal Secretary to join their very busy Wills, Trusts and Probate Department based in their Swanage Office. The role is available either on a full-time or part-time basis. Responsibilities: To provide audio typing as dictated by supervising fee-earner(s) To word process documents and materials Assist in communication with clients, taking telephone calls and accurately recording messages and providing assistance wherever possible Assist in the personal organisation of fee-earner(s) through the operation of a diary management system. Undertake admin duties associated with the position such as filing photocopying etc. Maintain an effective filing system for all client and other matters Provide such secretarial/administrative activities as may reasonably be required by the allocated fee-earner(s) Ensure the positive representation of the firm when dealing with clients and other outside agencies Maintain and build upon existing client relationships ?The ideal candidate does not need experience within a Wills, Trusts and Probate department (although that would be preferred) however, they will need previous legal experience. The successful candidate must have exceptional attention to detail and great inter-personal skills as it involves close communication with other members of the team and our clients.
