In this role, you will be part of our diverse Country Finance Team and you will provide dedicated accounting support by producing monthly management accounts and accomplishing key financial close & day-to-day activities efficiently. You will be an essential asset in supporting the Financial Controller & Finance Manager in driving forward projects, achieving business objectives and leading the team to success. The role involves cross-department collaboration, interacting with senior stakeholders, financial reporting and implementing process improvements. Job Title: Purchase Ledger Manager Location: Blackburn Salary: Up to £36k We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Manager to join our client's team in Blackburn. In this role, you will support the Accounts Payable Team by processing purchase invoices and expense claims efficiently and accurately, in line with business requirements. Daily Duties: Oversee the day-to-day management of the accounts payable team, including conducting regular meetings and monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews. Ensure the creditors ledger operates accurately, efficiently, and within agreed timescales. Maintain accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions. Ensure the smooth operation of weekly and monthly payment runs, conducting thorough checks to ensure correct payments. Ensure creditors and employee expenses are paid accurately and on time. Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, subcontractors, and the Senior Leadership Team What experience do I need?
