Management of customer orders from receipt to delivery.
General
You will be responsible for the full order process, including dealing with the customer, arranging delivery, liaising with the warehouse to ensure collection.
Manages and directs supply chain function - procurement, receipt, disbursement, and inventory control of material to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders while maintaining assigned inventory levels.
Is expected to train, develop and educate direct reports on the use of supply chain management techniques, various business systems, varieties of reports and other related tools to ensure timely and economical completion of customer requirements.
General
In this position you will be responsible for managing key Supply Chain related functions end to end, such as purchasing, materials planning, scheduling and ordering activities associated with the delivery of specific customer products, direct and indirect material purchasing, inventory control and warehousing, shipping and receiving.
The ideal candidate should possess order processing skills, exceptional customer service skills, organisational abilities, and adaptability.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential and experience in key account management and retail ordering are advantageous.
This role will be based in their office in Hayes and after a successful probation period there is the opportunity to work from home on Fridays with an earlier finish!
