Key Responsibilities This is a great opportunity to take the lead and make key site decisions as you will have overall accountability for our Brinsworth production site. This role will also give you the chance to lead a team, influence, inspire & develop others. In this role, you will lead all of the cylinder filling & handling activities ensuring the safe, efficient and cost-effective management of our employees and services, provided to customers both internal and external. As well as running the operation, you will have responsibility and ownership for the production cost centre. Alongside this, you will act as the responsible site landlord, providing the safe and efficient management of the site, working to identifying tenants and safety processes which all parties agree and operate to Safety is at the forefront of what we do, so you will ensure compliance with COMAH regulations and Health & Safety legislation, acting as a primary contact with the HSE and all external parties, ensuring compliance is always maintained. You will not only provide a safe and fulfilling environment, for all employees but you will act as a leader to empower the team to fulfil their best. Ensuring current and future codes of practice and standards are applied and adhered to, whilst ensuring that all cylinder filling & handling activities are consistently met, including the implementation of stock accuracy and control procedures. As an individual who embraces change, you will continuously seek improvements in the safety and efficiency of our operations through the adoption of best operating and commercial processes and by inspiring and developing the skills and competencies of the team. And finally, as part of this role you will work to achieve set productivity targets. Experience and Qualifications You have a HNC or HND qualification or are working towards qualification or equivalent working experience. Highly safety conscious with a working knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety legislation and of ISO9001:2008 ISO14001 operating procedures and systems. Ideally, you are NEBOSH certified or working towards qualification if not yet qualified. You have the ability to influence others, embrace change and use your abilities to lead others through change. Furthermore, you have experience of cylinder filling and handling or experience within a similar manufacturing operation. Excellent business and financial competence with proven budget leadership skills You have good people management skills and a passion for engaging and developing others.
