Salary of up to £35k per annum with up to 4k shift allowance.
The Operations Manager covers EHS, Engineering, Quality, Production, Procurement and Logistics to ensure all activities operate effectively and in compliance with legal and contractual obligations, as well as being responsible for review and development of the business unit to achieve market leading performance in terms of safety, quality, lead time and competitiveness.
As a key member of this successful company who provide protection solutions for industries operating with hazardous areas, the Operations Manager has responsibility for leading Operations to meet the business objectives, requiring a technical qualification, or, proven experience in a technical organisation, along with experience of ISO9001 and ISO14001.
Working closely with 4 Managers, who report in to this position, you will define business unit specific performance KPIs to monitor operational success against overall business objectives, supporting the implementation actions, instigating and leading projects to ensure continual improvement and productivity using best practice and lean principles.
To act as a focal point & to provide the continuity for contracted customers & Programme Managers.
To act as the focal point for maintenance requests received from contracted customers ensuring these demands are raised in a timely manner, sources of supply are identified and to arrange shipment in accordance with the contractual service level.
