Mechanical Field Engineer Piping Oil & Gas My client is on the lookout for a Mechanical Field Engineer with expertise in piping and steelwork design. Are you ready to put pencil to paper (or more accurately, cursor to CAD) and create fabrication blueprints that bring projects to life across diverse sectors such as Oil & Gas and Pharmaceuticals? ?? What's the role? Reporting directly to their Operations Director, you'll be the linchpin between their engineering production department and on-site teams. Your daily mission is to craft precise manufacturing drawings, ensuring accuracy in every bend and weld. ????? Your tasks: ? Generate detailed manufacturing and piping drawings ? Adhere to safety & quality protocols ? Survey equipment, design replacements & modifications ? Prepare bill of materials ? Provide tech insight during project engineering phases ? Who you are: - Pro at petro-chemical piping specs with solid site survey skills - Knowledgeable with AutoCAD, even if it's not second nature - Experienced with ASME & BS EN standards, a bonus for ASME B31.3 / B31.1 - Full UK driving licence for those essential site visits - Committed to safe work practices - Competent with a computer ? Your new company You will be working for an international oil & gas firm with over 4000 employees worldwide. This business supplies oil & gas to the aviation and maritime industries all over the globe. Turning over in excess of £50b p/a, supplying over 4000 locations, this giant offers ample room for challenges and progression for any future employee. Your new role As a Trading Operations Specialist (green energy), you will be working closely alongside the trading team to review and validate all seller and trader transactions on a daily basis against Trader recap/Broker recap. You will be responsible for resolving any and all trade discrepancies as well as generating, reviewing and sending the various sales confirmations. You will liaise closely with a variety of business partners, team members and management on a daily basis. You will utilise the ETRM system to run daily trade reports. What you'll need to succeed You will need to have previous experience within a similar back office/operations role - dealing specifically with green energy, such as EUA, UKAs, VERs and EAC. You should be highly organised and adept at managing your own time and workload effectively within a fast-paced environment. You should be highly analytical with an ability to effectively solve problems. What you'll get in return You will receive an annual base salary of up to £60,000 p/a alongside a discretionary 10% bonus. The ability to work in a hybrid pattern with 1 day a week in the Canary Wharf office.
