Client Manager Annual Salary: £50,000 -£60,000 Location: Longfield, Kent Job Type: Permanent (37.5 hours per week), Office-based/ Hybrid/ Remote A leading forward-thinking accountancy practice is seeking a Client Manager who will act as the primary point of contact for their clients, and support in financial decisions. In this role you will be guiding clients through their financial journey with strategic advice. There will be a mix of year end work and providing virtual finance director services. The responsibilities: - Client Relationship Management: Act as the first point of contact for clients and provide guidance/support. Data Management and Improvement: Oversee the accuracy of financial data, identify areas for improvement, and alert clients to potential pitfalls in a timely manner. Financial Oversight and Advisory: Support clients in understanding their financial figures, helping them interpret data to make informed decisions. Provide a "second opinion" and evaluate the pros and cons of potential business moves.??????? Financial Reporting: Produce comprehensive reports that include profit and loss, balance sheet analysis, customer analysis, and bank balance reviews, adding valuable commentary and comparisons to highlight significant changes.?????????????? Financial Analysis: Conduct regular financial analysis, including bank reconciliations, monitoring of outstanding sales, and checking for missing purchases. Alert clients to potential issues, such as outstanding invoices/unnecessary expenses. Strategic Planning: Offer strategic advice on cash flow management, foreign exchange, and other financial areas. Provide detailed reports with analysis, comparisons, in strategic decision-making. Client Portfolio Management: Manage your portfolio of clients to ensure that submissions are all delivered ahead of deadline, including accounts, VAT returns. Team Development: Sharing knowledge, experience and insights with team members to help improve performance. Delegate where needed. Development: Identify, communicate and implement opportunities to improve processes that contribute to the improvement of the business. The requirements: Commercially savvy and able to see the client's perspective. Ability to lead - ACA / ACCA qualified (if no ACA / ACCA then demonstrable experience will be required) Experience in managing clients. Experience in going beyond traditional accounting requirements of reporting and helping clients improve. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining positive client relationships. Knowledge of the property sector's specific tax rules and regulations is highly desirable. Attention to detail - Strong technical skills and understanding of accounting and tax rules. Duties: The role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to: Audio and copy typing various legal documents, including letters, emails, bills, financial statements, and legal forms such as Land Registry forms, Stamp Duty Land Tax Returns, and CPSE Replies. Making amendments to documents and creating new ones using track changes. Obtaining necessary searches and documents via the Land Registry portal, including title documentation, priority searches, bankruptcy searches, and submitting E-AP1 applications. Liaising with clients and third parties to provide updates and assist with queries. Undertaking general administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, filing, and file management. Opening and closing files efficiently. Utilising the firm's case management system, Visual Files. Candidate Requirements: My client is seeking a candidate who possess the following qualifications and skills: Proven experience working as a Legal Secretary, preferably within a busy Commercial Property department. Experience in Residential Property will also be considered. Fast and accurate typing skills. Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in using the Land Registry portal and legal case management systems. Ability to manage a busy workload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent organisational skills. Part-time hours are flexible, allowing for either three full days per week or spread over five days, totalling 22.5 hours.
