We're seeking enthusiastic Enablers to join our vibrant community activities team! You'll play a vital role in supporting our service users to develop new skills, build friendships, and explore exciting activities - all in a safe and caring environment. Our Programs: - Saturday Club: Provides a supportive and engaging environment for social interaction and learning new skills during term-time (runs 36 weeks a year). - Holiday Club: Keeps the fun going operating Monday - Thursday during school holidays! (runs 10 weeks a year) What you'll do: - Support young people and adults with learning disabilities or complex needs in a small, friendly team. - Provide safe, high-quality, and person-centred care, helping individuals achieve their goals and aspirations in a fun and inclusive environment. - Lead a variety of social activities like arts, sports, and holiday programs - chosen by the participants themselves! Expect exciting days filled with baking, team games, and even snow tubing! Saturday Club: Saturdays from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm during term-time (36 weeks per year). Monday-Thursday from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm for 40 days across school holidays (10 weeks per year - Every half-term, 1 week at Christmas, 2 at Easter and 4 in the Summer). Who we're looking for: - Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities is preferred. In this dynamic role, you'll be the driving force behind our engaging programs, leading your team in creating, planning, and delivering enriching activities for young people and adults. (runs 10 weeks a year) What you'll do: - Lead the entire process, from creating and planning activities to organising, marketing, and delivering them to diverse service users. - Actively participate in the activities while effectively managing your team. - Ensuring cost-effective programmes are delivered without compromising quality. - Lead by example, creating and maintaining a safe environment with safeguarding at the forefront. Working hours: - Saturday Club: 9 hours per week during term-time. Working Saturdays from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm plus 2 hours per week for admin (36 weeks per year). - Holiday Club: 36 hours per week during school holidays. This is to be worked as 40 days per year (09.30 - 16.30, Monday - Thursday) during school holidays (10 weeks - every half term, 2 weeks at Easter, 1 week at Christmas and 4 weeks in the Summer), with an 80 additional hours for admin. This role can be for both the Saturday Club and the Holiday Club, or we will happily consider candidates that wish to apply for either the Saturday Club, or the Holiday Club.
