Interim Health & Safety Specialist - 8 Month Assignment Location: Mostly remote, with travel to Newbury office and internationally when required Salary: Competitive Day or Hourly Rate available (PAYE via Reed) We are pleased to partner with a long-standing innovative international client who are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Specialist/ Senior Health & Safety Specialist on an 8-month fixed term interim contract, with the possibility of extension, to support operations across the UK/Ireland and some other European entities. Your Role: Ensuring H&S regulatory compliance and maintaining standards such as ISO 45001. Leading injury prevention and H&S risk management. Managing H&S regulatory compliance systems to meet legislative requirements. Identifying H&S hazards, supporting risk assessments, and executing control measures. Implementing H&S Standards and regional programs. Managing incident reporting, conducting investigations, and improving H&S Performance. Providing guidance on Health & Safety Management according to ISO 45001 and promoting continuous improvement. Assisting in the development of regional and global standards. Your Qualifications: Ideally you will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related H&S field. Comprehensive understanding of ISO standards and regulations. NEBOSH certification or equivalent. Excellent problem-solving, organisational, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive change. Flexibility for potential contract extension based on business needs. A proactive approach to working in a dynamic and agile environment. Location: This is a remote-based role in the UK, involving occasional travel within the region.
