A Niche Specialist Liability Adjusting Practice seeks to strengthen its Adjusting network through the appointment of an additional Field Adjuster to join their specialist Liability team.
The role will be a technical hands-on role where you will handle a very varied mixed portfolio of EL and PL claims including third-party property damage risks.
You will work with a variety of clients and a wide range of industries including, Construction, Engineering and the Lloyds of London Market; no day will be the same.
Upon receipt of an instruction, you will investigate and report on the loss that is the subject of an insurance claim for and on behalf of Insurers so they may consider policy coverage, claim acceptance, settlement and/or recovery.
Managing the more technical and complex claims you will investigate and provide factual surveying reports to various parties involved in the claim, covering the Scotland regions.
Opportunity exists to work within a well-established loss adjusting operation within their Major and Complex Loss team as a surveyor.
In addition to the technical responsibilities, you will also play an effective part in client relationships especially with the larger provincial brokers.
You will primarily operate within the Central Belt, but will be required to travel further afield to the Highlands and Islands as the portfolio of losses demand.

The Adjuster will be part of the Major and Complex Loss Division and will report via the relevant Regional Director or Adjuster Manager.
Working from a home base you will be responsible for handling a mixed portfolio of property, high net worth, major loss and complex and other technical claims.
Losses will be split between domestic and commercial, and typically complex claims with a value of between £50k to £100k.
The Adjuster will be part of the Major and Complex Loss Division and will report via the relevant Regional Director or Adjuster Manager.
