Employment Specialist - HR, Employability, IPS, Support, Administration Nottingham (Hybrid) / £18 - £22 per hour / 11 Month Contract - possible extension My client is urgently looking to recruit two Employment specialists to support them in assisting a small case load of participants into employment. They specialise in upskilling and training people who have physical/ mental health disabilities, who are motivated to return to work. In this role you will be responsible for supporting a small case load of participants in their job search, continued training, creating a tailored plan of action, and sourcing opportunities for them with local companies. Initially this role will be for a total of 11 months due to the current funding allocation but may be further extended. Key Responsibilities Use Individual placement support (IPS) to place and train participants Meet and support participants to understand their skills, aspirations and goals, completing a vocational profile and a tailored action plan Support with job searching, application forms, CV production, interview techniques and career development Source job opportunities through a tailored job search and regular contact with local employers, job centers and VCS organisations Continue supporting participants post placement by conducting regular visits and reviews Experience required Prior experience helping people in to work Previously worked with companies, who are looking to recruit staff Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures Knowledge of Employment Law and the Equality act in relation to disability and discrimination (desirable) An understanding of the IPS Approach (desirable) Career guidance qualification If you are interested in this role and would like to discuss it further, please apply using your latest CV ASAP to be considered.
