Role: Embedded Children & Young Persons Caseworker - Exploitation
Our client, a well-respected charity is looking for a dedicated and highly organised Children & Young Persons Specialist Exploitation Caseworker to join their experienced and compassionate team across Somerset.
This is a highly focused customer facing role that requires attention to detail and confidentiality.
The employee will be working within the busy reception area as well as creating legal documents.
To provide administrative and customer focused support duties across a range of departments, ensuring that all services provided to colleagues, managers and customers are efficient and effective.
To enter and administer Insurance claims on internal Insurance system for staff to process claims, and provide general business support and data entry assistance.
The role is predominantly supporting colleagues to provide an effective complaints handling service to meet the requirements of the Housing Ombudsman and Social Housing Regulator:
Responsible for receiving and administering all housing complaints into the service within set timescales.
Somerset Council's housing landlord service provides housing management services to approximately 5,600 council housing tenants.
The post holder will be responsible for the relet of around 400 council properties a year, ensuring compliant advertising, short listing, verification, offers, and reletting within agreed timescales to minimise rent loss.
To lead the housing lettings service within the council.
The role supports the delivery of timely relets of void council homes, reletting properties in line with the Homefinder Somerset Policy and the council's Lettings Policy.
